Training Systems

Each athlete with Maximum VO2 Training Systems is trained individually. Our approach allows us to accommodate the unique needs, skill level, and available training time to maximize our athletes’ performances.

 Please note that our training systems are priced differently with respect to single and multi-sport athletes and all systems require a minimum 6 month commitment.

 Initial Assessment

Each athlete with Maximum VO2 Training Systems will begin with an initial assessment. During this assessment, the athlete will complete our Athlete Interview Questionnaire. After completion of the questionnaire the coach and athlete will review the information. The athlete will then complete a series of biomechanical and sport screenings to determine the athlete’s current fitness and skill level while identifying the athlete’s strengths and weaknesses. Information attained from the initial assessment will provide the framework for the athlete’s training system. $100 for single sport athletes; $150 multisport athletes.

 BasicMAX Training System

The BasicMAX Training System is for the athlete who is seeking training guidance and purpose to maximize their performance. Athletes who utilize this system are self-motivated, have an excellent skill set and are not looking for daily interaction with their coach. Features of this system include:

  • Comprehensive initial assessment
  • Develop a general annual training plan taking into account the athlete’s unique needs, skills, and targeted races.
  • A basic feature online training log by Training Peaks. This online training account is the primary line of communication between the coach and athlete.  Athletes will use this account to log workouts, view training calendar, and track progression.
  • System is designed and delivered in 4 week training cycles
  • At the completion of each 4 week training cycle the athlete will have a check-up consultation with their coach to review training logs to discuss progress and plan next 4 week cycle.
  • Discounts at Partner Retailers

Since this a basic system there are limitations, which are adjustments to the 4 week training cycle, full feature training account, and first priority response from the coach.  BasicMAX Training System is available in monthly commitments of:  $100/month for single sport athletes; $125/ month multisport athletes. Additional coach contact is available through PersonalMAX.

 

MAX Training System

 The MAX Training System is the pinnacle training system offered by Maximum VO2. Athletes utilizing this system benefit from a strong coach-athlete relationship. This system provides an understanding to the athlete’s training responses while allowing the coach to take a proactive approach to further improve the athlete’s training effectiveness and maximize success. Features of this system include:

  • Comprehensive initial assessment
  • Develop a specific annual training plan taking into account the athlete’s unique needs, skills, training objectives and targeted races.
  • A full feature online training log by Training Peaks. Athletes will use this account to log workouts and nutrition, view training calendar, and track training and racing results.
  • This system’s training schedule is designed and delivered in 1-2 week cycles to provide the proactive adjustments.
  • All log training is sent directly to coach’s mobile device for instant feedback and analysis.
  • At least weekly & often daily communication with coach.

MAX Training System is available in monthly commitments of:  $225/month for single sport athletes; $275/ month multisport athletes.

 

PersonalMAX Training Sessions

PersonalMAX Training Sessions are tailored coaching sessions to accommodate the athlete’s needs and wants to help him or her further enhance training. These sessions can be used to supplement your current Max VO2 training system or your own training program. Examples of these sessions include, but are not limited to: bike fittings, race strategy planning, sport skill session, strength training, and nutritional meal planning.$90/hr; $70/hr for MAX Training System clients.
